Pull Together for Ronald McDonald House® Southern Alberta
25 weeks of Pull Tab Collecting + 25 Years to Celebrate =
1 BIG School Competition!
In celebration of our 25th Anniversary, Ronald McDonald House® Southern Alberta is hosting a school competition to collect pull tabs for 25 weeks.
The competition begins on November 23rd, 2009 and continues until May 14th, 2010. This equates to 25 weeks of pull tab collection!
The 1st Annual Weigh Day will take place on Friday, May 14th, 2010 between 9:00am and 3:00pm. Schools will bring their pull tab collections to the House on Weigh Day to be weighed on an industrial scale. The top three schools with the most pull tabs collected receives a prize. The school who collects the most pull tabs will be named Pull Tab Champion of the Year! This school will have the right to house the Pull Tab Champion trophy until they have to defend their title at Weigh Day 2011!
Any school in Southern Alberta can participate. If you are a school who is already collecting pull tabs, please keep going! You can use these tabs towards the competition when it begins.
We are able to provide three and five gallon containers to help you begin collecting.
