2009 Rock The House Run

Thank you to all of the runners, walkers, and their families that gathered at Ronald McDonald House^® Southern Alberta for the 3^rd Annual Rock the House Run on August 9^th, 2009.

"I am very new to running and especially to running in actual races. I did one before in Dec. 2008. Well, I must say this was the best race ever. Thank you for all of your hard work and also to the volunteers. I had a wonderful day. I will highly recommend this race to all of my friends and look forward to running it in 2010!"

"A HUGE thanks for making it possible for Flipside to perform at the event. I know the kids were thrilled with the opportunity as well as their families. "Rock the House Run was awesome!! The energy from the people and volunteers was great, the goodies and food after was unbelievable. We'll definitely be doing it again next year. The kids did the 1km Active Walk/run and they loved it too. They got more loot bags and balloons on the route than I have ever seen!"

"Of all the organized events I've taken part in, Rock the House Run was by far the most fun and interactive experiences I have had to-date. The event was wonderfully organized, down to the last detail. The volunteers and staff were in such wonderful spirits - the enthusiasm of the day was just contagious! And who needs an iPod?!! Thanks to such a unique idea as bringing out live entertainment for the event, I was smiling and rocking out to SO MANY different types of music along the course. This was my first time participating in the race... but it certainly won't be my last!"
