2nd Annual Pull Together Campaign for Ronald McDonald House® Southern Alberta
In celebration of our 25th Anniversary, Ronald McDonald House® Southern Alberta hosted a school competition to collect pull tabs for 25 weeks in 2010. 15 schools in southern Alberta participated and raised over 1.2 million pull tabs!
This year we plan to do it again and raise even more! We will use the money from the weight of the aluminum to support the programs and operations of Ronald McDonald House® Southern Alberta, which in turn supports the families who stay here.
This year's competition begins on September 20th, 2010 and continues until May 13th, 2011. On May 13th, schools will bring their collections to the House for the 2nd Annual Weigh Day.
Any school in Southern Alberta can participate. All you need to do is register your school by contacting Kristen Staldeker, Community Relations Administrator, at 403-240-3000 ext. 130 or kristen@rmhsouthernalberta.org
If you are a school who is already collecting pull tabs, please keep going! You can use these tabs towards the competition when it begins.
We are able to provide three and five gallon containers to help you begin collecting.
