2008 Rock The House Run

Runners, walkers and their families gathered at Ronald McDonald House® Southern Alberta for the second annual Rock the House Run on August 17th, 2008.
Fashioned after popular Rock ‘n Roll races in the United States; participants were energized by fun and spirited music along the race route and at the end where the party continued, a concert was put on by the Heebee-jeebees, Amy Bishop, Lindsay Ell, Vault 13 and Whale Mountain. This was not just a race but an event.
Rock the House Run is for families with children of all ages, past and present guests of the House, recreational athletes and charity walkers. With a 10K run and walk, a 5K run and walk and a 1K McDonald's Go Active walk, there's something for everyone!
