The Lammers Family
|
We're getting the support our family really needs.
When the premature birth of triplets made it impossible for the Lammers family to stay in their small town, the Ronald McDonald House helped to keep them together. For two months, their three tiny sons were under the specialized care of the Foothills and Alberta Children's Hospitals in Calgary. Staying at the house allowed Leo and Michelle to have their two-year-old daughter with them until the triplets grew healthy enough to go home.

The Gibson Family
|
We could be there for each other.
In August 2004, 13 year old Bryson was diagnosed with aplastic anemia. When he needed a bone marrow transplant, his sister Erin volunteered to donate and luckily, turned out to be a match. The Ronald McDonald House became the temporary home for their family, whose closeness was an inspiration to the staff and the other families staying in the House. With his family close by, Bryson never lost his positive attitude, and is now cured.
